Joey Jett offers MORE than skateboard lessons to youth (ages 5-13) with lessons, camps and birthday parties. These youth lessons in Skating, Videography, Photography, Editing and Fashion Design are designed to foster creativity, independence and confidence in young minds. A truly unique and engaging learning experience in a creative safe space / blending the world of art and skateboarding with fun! Try a single class or a package of five lessons.

In MAYon THURSDAYS- we are offering a group class starting May 15th - June 12th
for 5 weeks from 5:30 - 6:30 pm!

There are also a variety of classes offered on SUNDAYS with the next sessions starting on MAY 11, 18 JUNE 1,8,15th- Kids can attend a Sk8 Skills class from Noon - 1pm or Create & Sk8 from 3 - 4pm. There is the "Beginner Only" skate class from 1 -2 pm. From 4 - 5pm there is an Older Class for 9-13 year olds. Each class is limited to 5 students. CAMPS are also offered in the summer. The camp is maxed out at 7 students with skating and creating. Each student makes a custom shirt and snacks are provided in this fun camp from 9am - noon. Camps will be June 23-27, July 7-11, July 21-25, August 4 -8 and August 18-22.

Creative Skills

SKATEBOARDING

With a custom halfpipe perfectly designed for kids to learn the basics of skating. They have the option to learn at their own pace or pick a different skill. The kids develop a creative eye and learn important life lesson that will build confidence. The experience will expand learning opportunities in help them continue to progress as a creative.

FASHION DESIGN / SCREEN PRINTING + GRAPHIC DESIGN

Learning with top of the line screen printing equipment, the kids will learn how to make custom clothing with graphics. Creating unique color combinations to allow them to express their individuality and personality in a unique way. At the end of the session, each student will take home their custom designed shirts.

PHOTOGRAPHY/EDITING

Using many different types of cameras including some of the best around & best editing software, the kids will learn how to understand camera techniques and the fundamentals of lighting & texture. With our custom backdrops and action photography, the kids see the world from a different eye and learn to take and edit great photos.

VIDEOGRAPHY/EDITING

The kids will learn and understand the basics of using video cameras. Gathering knowledge of motion & lighting in the studio. The lessons will open their perspective to seeing the world from a different eye, all while taking great videos and editing cool clips.
